Job Description

The position of coordinator at the Property Office in Upplands-Bro Municipality is largely service-oriented and involves many points of contact, both internally and externally.

The role is suitable for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop in a broad coordinating role with a focus on vehicles, properties, and sustainability.

As a coordinator, you will act as the municipality's expert in vehicle matters as well as an investigator within the Property Office. You contribute to ensuring that the municipality has energy-efficient operational premises and a well-functioning, climate-efficient, and sustainable vehicle fleet.

You are responsible for maintaining the vehicle register and act as the contact person for the vehicle register, vehicle suppliers, and insurance companies. In this role, you support the municipality with vehicle orders and have overall responsibility for vehicle-related procurements, acquisitions, disposals, and claims. You are also responsible for the municipality's shared car pool and actively work to develop and streamline our routines regarding the vehicle fleet.

The position also includes investigating and working on development and projects based on various needs. The position mainly involves investigative assignments within the property area, such as sustainability, climate, and energy efficiency. In the role of investigator, you will work both independently and collaborate with others to carry out and present investigations.

The municipality is currently conducting an investigation regarding energy efficiency of the premises, and you will be responsible for driving the continued work to implement appropriate measures. Your creative problem-solving profile will be needed in these matters.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and administering the municipality's total vehicle fleet (company cars, service vehicles, pool cars, special vehicles, etc.)
  • Ensuring that the municipality's vehicles are used, maintained, and decommissioned according to applicable laws, procurement agreements, and internal guidelines
  • Responsible for vehicle orders, leasing management, deliveries, registrations, and coordinating service, repairs, inspections, and tire changes
  • Monitoring and analyzing operating costs and environmental impact regarding premises and vehicles
  • Contributing to the development of sustainable energy and mobility solutions
  • Planning and prioritizing energy efficiency measures
  • Coordinating and developing routines
  • Preparing reports, statistics, and documentation for management and committees

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has completed post-secondary education in technology, logistics, real estate, construction, or other relevant education deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Has previous experience in service occupations or similar roles with close customer contact
  • Has good computer skills and is accustomed to working in the Office suite
  • Is interested in new working methods and technological development
  • Has a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Holds a valid driver's license (B)

Experience in environmental and sustainability issues, life cycle analyses, and experience in public procurement and LOU is advantageous.

The position is a permanent employment. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.
